That's the end of this blog! We moved a year ago to the Long Island suburbs. I started a new blog: let me know if you want the address. Cheers.

Finally, we have closed and moved in to our house. It was a long process. We've been looking at houses pretty much in the last 2 years, and moved to Long Island last September. Many of you thought that this move was the one when we bought our house. Unfortunately, that deal didn't work out and we had to get out of our cozy apartment in Brooklyn. So we ended up spending 10 full months in Rockville Centre, NY, East of the city. A lovely town, very good schools, but very unpleasant landlord. Helas, the search started again, this time, with a completely different team: new realtor, new attorney. The result is above. The house was built in 1920 so there is a lot to do... but charming. We love it already. The first thing we are going to do is to change some windows and then put up a fence at the backyard, so the kids can play.
Now off to Europe for our vacation

En fait, ca s'entend plutot "happy to you, happy to you..."
Ca complete le repertoir de "Doo doo doo daa daa daa" de Police et "New York, New York" de Frank Sinatra.
